Santa at the Bookstore!

Today
Santa goes
to the Bookstore!

Snow
threatened
to slow down
this Santa sleigh.

But this intrepid elf
could not be
delayed.

On Dasher
On Dixon!

To Zionsville Meadows
we go!

Pick up
Santa Claus...

...and off to
the book store!

Gramma Gene
settles in
to her comfortable chair....

tells Elf KC
to go find her books.

We have five Steussy kids

five kid-in-laws

fifteen grandkids

and a great-grandchild.

Time to get
to work!

- A Christmas book,
Gramma Gene?

- No, KC.
I want books
they will read
all year long.

- How about these?

- I like
this one!

Santa Mom
sends us
out
into the stacks...

Children's books...

Sports books...

Serious books...

... and silly.

We hit
every department
of the bookstore.

Elf Alex
is serious.

Elf KC
not so serious.

The pile of books
begins to grow...

And Santa Mom
wanders
out into the aisles
to help her
cheerful elves.

I think we
have them all KC.

Standing in line
with 26 books
KC is glad
we brought
the walker.

No need
for shopping bags!

I brought my own...

...lots of them!

Time for this Prius sleigh
to take
Santa
out to lunch.

Mmmmm.

Fresh, hot soup
to warm Santa's
cold hands.

Then finally back
to the
North Pole
at Zionsville
for a well-deserved nap.

We're all
exhausted!

Ho-ho-ho!

  1. I just saw on one of my "deals" sights that there is 40% off at borders today online, as well as free shipping. Just thought I'd pass it on! You put in this code to obtain the 40 off & free shipping: BCR1936M
