St Patrick's Day

It's
St
Patrick's
Day...

and
it's
crazy
warm!

Things
are
blooming...

together...

that
have
never
bloomed

together...

before!

The
bulbs
KC
and I
planted
last
spring?

The
ones
they
said
wouldn't
bloom?

Surprise!

It's
so
warm...

this
St
Patty's
Day...

That
I
have
to
get on
bike...

to
check
it
out!

Of
course,
everyone
else...

is
out,
too...

Jogging...

Playing
golf....

and
gardening,
of
course!

I
bike
along....

admiring
the
forsythias...

and
chatting
with the
men
planting
pansies.

Beautiful,
yes?

But
it's
still
winter!

Someone
tell
the
buckeyes
that.

Oh, no!

It's the
evil
garlic
mustard!

I want
to
stop
and warn
this
unsuspecting
house.

Pull it now!

Before
it's
too
late!

Luckily
they
have
friendly
flowers,
too.

I see
kids
playing
in
the
streams...

biking
to
the
local
chains...

or
just
out
walkin'
with their
buds.

Everyone
is
enjoying
this
weather!

The
Monon
is
busy...

as
are
the
bugs.

Look
at
the
catkins
on the
willows...

and
the
catkins
on the
windowsills.

It's
18 miles
to
Zionsville ...

to
visit
Tommy
Tree...

and
my
Mom.

an
amazing
St Patricks
day.

full
of
blooms...

and
blossoms....

and
with
more
yet....

to
come!

So glad we planted those flowers! =D We had to go to like 3 different grocery stores to get those =P Cuz no one else was selling them cuz it wasn't their time! hehe But I love having a Mom/Basey garden where ever we live =)

K does not look too happy on his "carry"! Dad needs to let him run around a bit and lose some of that winter FIAT! =) Tell him to go chase some groundhogs =D
