Mom's 90th Birthday

You
only turn
90 once,
says
my
Mom....

So you
need
to make
the most
of it!

So she's
excited
when
first son,
Nic,
shows up
to take her
out shopping
for her
birthday.

And
she doubly
excited when...

Knock
Knock
Knock

It's
Helen!

Here
by
bike.

Helen!
You
skipped
Penrod
to be with us
today!

And
as we
plan
our
shopping
adventure...

there's
another
knock
at
the
door....

Who
could
that
be?

It's
Second Son,
Ed!

from
California!!!

Mom
can't
believe
her eyes!

Since he
just
started
law school
(at age 48)...

We figured
we wouldn't
see
him
for years!

But
enough
of the
pleasantries!

We've
got
shopping
to do!

But
where
do you take
your
90 year old
Mother
to shop?

What
could she
possibly
want?

Probably
the
same thing
these guys
want...

What
everyone
seems
to
want....

Just
not many
of them
come
in a
wheelchair!

It comes
with
two
cameras!

And
it's light
as a
feather!

Nic
and Mom
are in
their
element!

I have
such
a
techy
family!

OK.

We'll
take
it.

Now
it's time
for
lunch!

Mom's
favorite
place.

What do
we
want?

MMM!

Yogurt
Parfait!

So great
being
all
together
on a
beautiful
Indiana
day!

Now
it's back
to
ZM...

to play
a bit
with her
new
toy...

and take
a bit
of a
cat
nap.

Take
your
time,
Mom.

We need
a chance
to
straighten
up
the house...

and
feed
the birds...

before
all
the family
arrives...

for
another
Brixton
feast.

Kudos
to
the
cook!

But
wait!

We
forgot
someone!

Sorry,
Kitty.

We
love
you!

Now
is the
moment
we've all
been
waiting
for...

Bring
in
the
cake!

Not
too
many
candles...

Make
a
wish....

What
more
could one
wish for?

A
surprise
visit...

flowers...

and a
wonderful
birthday
dinner...

Life
is
good!

Not
everyone
can make
it to
90.

It's pretty old.

But
Mother
you do
90...

pretty

darned

well!

  3. Can't Bob. Tom and I are going on a bike ride in Costa Rica then to celebrate 25 years together.
I could ask him if he would rather go to Georgia. :)
