Remembering Dad

He was
a presence,
says
my Mom.

Ornery,
I say.

He
was
my
Dad.

He
loved
his dog,
Amiga!

He
loved
Christmas
shopping!

He
loved
life!

Pathology
defined
him...

as
did
travel.

Family
meant
the world
to my
Dad.

So
did
his
cars.

His
greatest
love,
however...

was
my
Mom.

60 years...

they
had
together.

Years
of
joy...

...of
challenge...

...of
adventure!

From
that first
game
of
bridge....

....to
the days
together
at
Zionsville
Meadows.

He
was
a
presence...

one
we will
always
remember.

  1. I'm proud to have come from such a wonderful man. Honored to carry him on.

He would be proud of you and all you do mom.

    I'll be remembering Grandpa today.

  2. ...he was competitive, intelligent, cantankerous, proud of his family, and he talked to cats - had to like that. tjw
