Exploring Prague...

A
rainy
day
in
Prague...

the
world
is
wet
and
gray...

It's
a
good thing
I bought
a
daffodil
yellow
umbrella!

As
I
wander
early
morning...

rush
hour
Prague...

and
I
come
face to face...

with
the
victims
of
Communism.

There's
a
darkness
to
Prague
that's hard
to
ignore.









especially
in
the
rain.

Let's
take
the
tram,
TJ!

I
hear
they
allow
lions!

Besides,
he
has
a friend
to
visit.

T and I
visit
the
Old-new
synagogue.

He's
not sure
they'll
let
him
in....

until
he
puts on
his
yarmulke.

We
learn
about
the
golem...

and
the
Jewish
cemetery...

where
they
were given

little
space...

they

bury
their dead
one
on top of
the
other....

and
small stones
are left

momentos
for
loved ones.

Then
of course
we
have to
visit....















the
souvenir
shop....

where
TJ
buys a gift
for
Liz.

friends!

now...

time
for
lunch...

wonderful
food...

elegant
setting...

good
beer.

And
now it's time
for the
Astronomical
Clock
to
ring!

but
we decide
not to
watch it
from below
with the
crowds.

we
climb
the
tower....

and
watch
the
crowds
from
above!

When
the
magic
minute
strikes...


A
trumpeter
heralds
the
moment!

Soon
we're
back down
with the
masses...

and
I need
a way
to
spot
TJ!

Not
gonna
lose
him
now!

Crossing
the
Charles
bridge...









enjoying
the
view...

and
the
shows...

I
buy
a
souvenir...









and
maybe
a
gift...

then
TJ
leaves...

while
I stay
to
chat
with the
locals!

A
soldier...

baker...

A

shirt!















but
finally
it's
time...

to
wander
the
streets
home...

to
check
on
TJ....

and
to
prepare...
















for
our
day
ahead.
